Rachel Campbell likes water – COOOOLLLLLLLLD water. She and her friend, Chris Grossman, made the 15-minute drive from her home in Waterbury, Vermont to downtown Waitsfield just to wade in the Mad River, situated near an iconic covered bridge and a small hiking trail. With an air temperature below 40-degrees F, she stepped into the water and waded up to her shoulders.
