Get there at 8:30 to set up any foreground ideas, a water feature and a wide angle may really be cool. With my 600mm on a full frame, I tried 1/125, 1/100, and 1/50 of second. I bracketed at every iso I tired. started and 6400, 3200, 1200, 800, 400. For me I sort of liked 400 but the speed really suffered. I would like to go back and try it at f11, 1/60 of a second and see what ISO lands it but I am concerned about loosing detail with the high Iso. However, it has to be tried. Update: The second night I went higher in hopes to get the reflection but a large Bull Moose stopped me.

There may be another chance to get this tomorrow evening between 8:30 and 9:00 pm if you are in Northern Utah. With Montana burning and now the Wasatch Front we have an unscheduled Blood Moon. I shot this at iso 400, F 6.3, 1/50 second, 600mm, Canon 6d, on a carbon fiber pod, stacked 6 photos and took the median in Photoshop to reduce the noise. The moon is reddest the lower it is the sky. Good luck!
