I have seen quite a few waterfalls in my short life, but I would proudly say that this is one of my most favorite I have ever seen. But maybe it's because it was an adventure to get to. We started off at the trail head by climbing over a giant log dam. It was really freaky and fun all at the same time. After conquering the logs we were introduced into the breathtaking green gorge just ahead. If only pictures could do justice. I loved wading through the water while climbing over, around, and under fallen logs. What an awesome experience it was. After a few gorgeous bends and turns it was time for us to take a swim; for there was no other way to make it to the falls without doing so. The walls were shear cliffs and there had been so much snow that had melted that it filled up a whole section of the gorge with water. I loved it! But I was also glad we had come prepared. Just around the water pit bend was one of the most gorgeous waterfalls of my whole life. Of course we couldn't help ourselves and we had to jump right into the freezing water and swim around the falls. This is one place I would highly recommend to anyone. It was well worth the adventure! Plus the whole hike was only about one mile long, which I would have to say was one of the best miles of my life.
